Management Structure

The Education Act 1998, (15.1) states: “It shall be the duty of a board to manage the school on behalf of the patron and for the benefit of the students and their parents and to provide or cause to be provided an appropriate education for each student at the school for which the board has responsibility.”

The members of the Board of Management are as follows:

  • Four Persons nominated by the Patron
  • Two elected Staff Members
  • Two elected Parents

The BOM has the following general responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that the school operates according to the religious and educational philosophy of the Holy Ghost Congregation.
  • Promoting the welfare and progress of the school
  • Selecting and appointing staff
  • Overseeing the financial administration of the school
  • Responsibility for developing and ratifying the enrolment and other policies for the College.
